Fortis 115 (90% Polyester, 10% UHMWPE) is ultralight and very breathable. It punches above its weight, matching the tear strength and abrasion resistance of heavier weight synthetic fabrics, and significantly outperforms common 250gsm merino wool fabrics.

Use 115 as a spring/summer/early fall light layer to cut the chill and protect from the sun. In cold temps wear it under a midlayer and shell for optionality when your aerobic output varies.
